Our Story
Since our creation in 2010, Jack Tang, founder of DINGQI, laid the foundations of a company focused on quality and service, where people are the centre of our philosophy.
The ability to adapt and the commitment of a great team made that small shop in Archena Street in Zhongshan become an internationally recognised firm with a presence in more than 90 countries.
Our experience over 40 years has allowed us to develop our own language that combines sophistication and technological innovation. Understanding light and knowing how to use it in our own unique way is essential to create atmospheres and sensations that improve people's lives.
2010
Jack Tang opens the first DINGQI office on Archena Street, Zhongshan — focused on quality technical lighting.
2000s
DINGQI begins its international journey, reaching distributors across Europe and beyond.
2014
Lark-111 wins the prestigious Red Dot Design Award — the first of 15 to follow.
2020
The Minimal Track 24V system wins two Red Dot Awards in the same year, becoming a landmark product.
2024
DINGQI achieves Carbon Neutral certification — a milestone in our sustainability journey.
2026
